Sage Marinated Shrimp Skewers

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp – peeled and deveined
  • 10 wooden skewers
  • 3 Tbl olive oil
  • 3 cloves of chopped garlic
  • ¼ fresh chopped sage
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • Preheat the grill. You can also broil the shrimp in the oven.

    Soak the skewers for thirty minutes, this way they won’t burn on the grill.
    Rinse and drain the shrimp. Combine the sage, salt, olive oil, and garlic in a Ziploc bag. Add shrimp and toss around to coat. Let this marinate for as little as an hour, or overnight.

    Place four shrimp per skewer, and grill three minutes each side on the grill. Allow for same cooking time if you choose to broil.

    TIP: Serve with steamed rice, or herb roasted potatoes.
