Garlic Sage Biscuits (Serves 8)

Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry sage
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic – chopped
  • 3 tablespoons whole butter
  • 1 cup buttermilk – 100%

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees

Begin by sifting all the dry ingredients together into a bowl.

Melt the butter in the microwave and then add to the dry mixture. Mix this gently until small crumbs are formed.

Now add the buttermilk and mix just until it comes together. Put this mixture on a floured table top and knead it until it forms a nice ball. With a rolling pin roll it out to3/4-inch thickness. Punch out 12 biscuits and place on a non stick baking sheet.

Bake for 18-20 minutes and Enjoy!
